I love flowers, wildlife and the countryside.
The inspiration for my art comes from the floral borders of historic gardens such as Hidcote Manor in Gloucestershire and Biddulph Grange in Staffordshire.
Spending time walking around these gardens and our wild places provides a wealth of colour and texture upon which I base my work. I make sketches and take photographs which I bring back to my studio where I work on my paintings. Most of my paintings are created using acrylics or oil paints.
I also support local nature conservation charities including Butterfly Conservation and my local Wildlife Trust.
